Who we are
SeeMe Running AB (559443-5363), Elljusvägen 2 B, 780 67 Sälen, Sweden, is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: privacy@seemerunning.ai.
When we time races and publish results on an organiser’s instructions, we act as their processor. Please see the organiser’s privacy information for that processing.
What we use and why
We receive information from you, event organisers, event recordings, your employer, public registers and recruitment sources.
Event participants and others filmed: images, video, bib numbers, race details, timestamps and visible clothing or equipment attributes. We use these to improve timing and AI models, produce anonymous statistics, and match photos and video to participants. Our basis is our legitimate interest in improving and providing these services.
Photo and video customers: contact, order and delivery details to fulfil requests and purchases. Promotional email or SMS offers for personal photos and video require consent. Offers concerning participants under 18 go to a guardian or the registered adult contact.
Business contacts and enquiries: contact details, employer, communications and relevant meeting or contract information to manage relationships and support, provide product information and conduct surveys. Our basis is legitimate interests; performance of a contract applies where you are personally a party.
Website and app users: technical, account and usage information to provide functionality, security and usage statistics. We rely on legitimate interests or a contract with you where applicable. Non-essential cookies require consent. Framer’s built-in website analytics do not use cookies.
Applicants and referees: contact details, applications, qualifications and references for recruitment, based on legitimate interests. Keeping applications for future recruitment requires consent.
We also process relevant records to meet accounting obligations and protect legal claims. Automated bib reading and image matching do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
How long we keep information
Event video is kept for up to 12 months. Matched photos and video are normally kept for up to 12 months while an offer is active; purchased or requested content remains available for the agreed period.
Business and support records are normally kept during the relationship or case and for up to one year afterwards. Prospect details are kept for up to three months, or while discussions continue; surveys for up to one year; published customer stories for up to five years. Recruitment records are normally kept for up to two years; future-recruitment records until consent is withdrawn.
Accounting records are kept through the seventh year after the calendar year in which the relevant financial year ended. Relevant legal-claim records may be kept for up to ten years. Minimal marketing suppression details are retained to respect opt-outs.
Website logs are kept for up to one year; app records for the period of use and up to one year afterwards. Backups may retain deleted information for up to a further six months and are used only for recovery.
Who receives information
We use IT, cloud, AI, payment, communication and support providers. Providers acting on our behalf follow data processing agreements. We may also share relevant information with advisers, authorities, group companies or a potential business acquirer.
Processing generally takes place at the event location and within the EU/EEA. Transfers outside the EU/EEA use an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards. Contact us for details and copies of safeguards.
For LinkedIn page insights, SMR and LinkedIn act as joint controllers. See LinkedIn’s privacy policy and page joint-controller terms.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, erase, restrict or obtain a portable copy of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, always object to direct marketing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Contact privacy@seemerunning.ai. You may complain to Sweden’s Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or another competent supervisory authority. Additional local rights may apply.
